How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
African Biosciences Ltd is responding to the Covid-19 pandemic by providing private sector testing through a primarily B2B platform. Before the pandemic very few healthcare facilities including medical testing labs, hospitals and clinics in Nigeria offered any kind of clinical molecular diagnostics due to many infrastructural, technical and logistics challenges. Now there are some laboratories across Nigeria that offer molecular diagnostics testing for Covid-19, but their capacity to serve the market is hampered by lack of skilled technical personnel and reagents, and strictly narrow criteria of who can get tested.African Biosciences Ltd is offering Covid-19 testing specifically for companies and organizations to secure the health of their workers, and for individuals concerned about own exposure. The platform is a seamless workflow and logistics platform to handle sample collection, sample preparation, rapid antibody testing, real time RT-PCR testing and results delivery. Our solution allows companies to sign up with us to provide on-going testing throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and thereafter for wellness testing and healthcare surveillance.
