The world needs urgent, significant and innovative interventions to mitigate these effects without enabling or supporting corruption. The co-founders of Bitprop BV are Carl Fredrik Sammeli (a Swedish serial entrepreneur living in Cape Town) and Glen Jordan (a South African impact entrepreneur living in the Netherlands). They have both started and developed successful businesses (learnt from failures too), have a global perspective and a passion to make a difference in the world. Carl Fredrik’s background in title deed sponsorship, combined with Glen’s background in low-income financial inclusion entrepreneurship, formed the building blocks of the Bitprop concept. The team includes highly skilled architects with a background in low-cost housing, who are able to assist in the systems and processes required to assist and develop local building contractors. With additional expertise added in low-income market understanding, communications, operationsand financing, Bitprop is developing systems and processes that enable the concept to adapt and grow effectively.
