How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
The current situation in nursing home is a disaster. In Maine, the lock down is forcing these institutions to lock people in their room, preventing families and visitors to come. For the dementia sufferers, it's a drama behind doors beyond your wildest imagination. People are confused, more isolated than ever and do not understand anything, including the fact that everyone is wearing mask and locking them up them in their bedrooms, 24/7. There is absolutely no television program adequate for dementia sufferers, they generate anxiety and stress and this population can not follow a plot. Memory Lane is the only solution available at the moment to help reduce anxiety, fear, stress and confusion by providing 24/7 adapted programing to this population. Memory Lane follows the circadian rythm of the day through a plot free series of sessions adapted for the end viewer. It offers respite to the caregiver and a unique relief to help with the associated stress related to the current Covid 19 situation. We bring the exterior, inside.
Does your business contribute most to recovery, response, or resilience?
