Importance of Financial Inclusion during Covid19 : By providing 24x7/reliable electricity to the banking facilities in ultra remote terrains; we are enabling the Financial Inclusion of the poorest of the poor of India, during the Covid19 crisis. Through our solar powered banking facilities in rural India, over 3 million people have been enrolled into the Prime Minister _Jan Dhan Yojana (PM-JDY), world's largest financial inclusion program. The Government has been transferring relief aid / cash subsidies to the poor through DBT ( Direct Benefit Transfer) to the PM-JDY accounts during Covid19. Even with severe Lockdown restrictions, our Engineering team is providing 24x7 support to the banks to keep delivering benefits to those millions of poor. Also, we have been asked to step up the pace of providing electricity to 100 more locations in next few days, so that the banks can reach more undeserved for inclusive banking. We are fully geared up to deliver these targets, despite Covid19 crisis and restrictions. Covid19 Health care : We have developed, commissioned and successfully tested Solar Powered Incinerator for safe disposal of Covid19 used face masks, hand gloves as well sanitary napkins. The pilot has been running successfully for over 100 days now, disposing 300 masks/day/incinerator. This is an extremely important health measure in rural India, given the inadequate waste management systems. This Covid19 innovative product is ready for scaling up to 1000 units/year.
