Considering the recent outbreak of corona virus, the main channel of transmission occurs by the transfer of droplets to a healthy person through air. There have been several similar outbreaks that utilize air as the main transmission channel. However, such transmission of diseases can be stopped using different filters for mouth and nose. Various masks comprising different filters are often used to curb the transmission of the air borne diseases. There is a need for a filter that filters the nano particles including any viruses with high removing efficiency. The present compact anti-viral nasal filter filters different nano particles including viruses, bacteria and other pollutants by embedding electro-spun transparent air filters. The nasal filter aids to filter the exhaled air from an infected user to avoid spreading of diseases to adjacent individuals. The nasal filter is ergonomically designed to fit to the nose of the user without any disturbance to the eyes, mouth and field of vision of the user. The compact nasal filter can be used by quarantined patients, medical staff including doctors, nurses and allergic patients with seasonal allergies against minute particles. The filter provides natural breathing at a rate of 12 to 16 litres per minute (LPM) to the user without any reduction in the air suction rate and to enable the user to use the nasal filter during walking, running and other daily activities with ease.
