How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
1. Distribution and Installation of hand washing facilitiesOur technical department was able to distribute and install hand washing facilities in our community. 2.Food Production at household levelTo curb low supply of food during Covid 19 period, we assembled a very low cost ready to harvest portable modular hydroponic vegetable growing product called hydro-crate. We then grew vegetables thousands of vegetables and distributed directly to the households. With only $3 per hydro-crate every household is able to receive a hydro crate at their doorstep with between 2-15 stems of vegetables which they will continue to harvest for the next nine months. 3. Enhanced direct access to food; reduced people's mobility and reduced the spread of Covid 19 The ability of people being able to produce vegetables in their backyard for their own consumption enhanced access to food substantially reduced people's mobility and ultimately reduced the spread of Covid 19.4. Desk Agronomist & Customer Care SupportTo enable our farmers spread across the region able to effectively produce with no physical visitation of our agronomist due to low mobility caused by the effects of Covid 19; we have intensified our desk agronomist and customer care support to advise our farmers accordingly.5.
