How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
We are currently running a "COVID-19 Awareness project for the Deaf" through short video series(found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp4ClRW8xA_qmgN0rvGyt1g) with content sorrounding:- how to protect themselves from COVID-19; how to prevent transmission; to provide youth-targeted facts about where the virus comes from and how it spreads, and to respond to the questions that impact them most. We leverage the segments we produce for other organizations to re-purpose for the deaf and hard of hearing individuals they serve and to edit the videos for publication online for those who are able to access that medium. We have also been able to raise GBP 600 Pound Sterling to support number of children that remained at the Good Samaritan School for the Deaf boarding school due to virus-related travel restrictions in Uganda for food and toiletries and health materials like sanitizers.
