How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
We have Diversified from our regular product line to Design and fabricate Hand wash stations and mobile solar energy cart , Hand wash stations can be used outside all retail outlets ,banks, services clinics, Hospitals, Police stations ,Schools & colleges etc. WHO has stated that 20 seconds washing is most effective form sanitation to prevent spread of COVID19.Access to energy in remote and secluded areas prevents adequate infrastructure to be set up for treatment of COVID19 patients, particularly in emergency cases. We are designing our cart to be a mobile inclusive, light-weight solar energy generator. It will be able to be adapted to be drawn by Animals, Human power, motor cycle etc, enabling access to otherwise inaccessible areas.

What strengths does your team bring? Include skills and personal experience with the problem.
Our team consist of a group of engineers who have passionately spent the majority of our time working together and individually over the past 20 + years as social volunteers . Our focus has been working grass-root with the poorest of the poor , particularly in rural India , working for their rights, enhancing their livelihoods , health and living conditions.Millet Machines and Tools LLP was initiated to further assist in our work with farmers to enable their sustainable future.Our team are all well qualified engineers with vast first-hand ground experience and broad network of diverse beneficiaries.Our first machine design won us an award and 1 lac prize money in 2018 Vibrant Gujarat Grand Challenge- Blooming Stage.Our speciality is that we have been successful in filling the gaps in the value chain .We have been technical consultants and worked closely IIT's, IISC's, private engineering colleges, Leading government bodies such as KVIC, DC handicrafts, TWD, Indian Forestry, Indian Agriculture dept. We have proven that solutions can be found.
