How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
We are currently building BFLO technology for sustainable transparency and truth, and spearheading mFLO to track Covid resources. mFLO Covid is a solution being built by Noble Profit to help track the flow of resources around the pandemic leveraging our proprietary blockchain enabled technology BFLO.Managing and seeing Covid 19 resource flows amid a rapidly changing landscape is a daunting task. mFlo is being designed to make managing information easier and to be able to see where delivery of aid is needed. mFLO can also provide a way for grantees to report back to donors. We created BFLO to track and verify sustainability claims for business and investment, and are applying it to mFLO Covid for this project to help provide transparency and contextual views around these resource flows. Advantages of mFLO in the case of the pandemic include mapping complex data flows using BFLO’s combination of a private encrypted system to protect information, against public data.. The vision of BFLO is to reduce friction and increase transparency. mFLO resource flows include donations and grants from government, business, foundations and agencies, small business, nonprofits, health sector and individuals.

Parent company Noble Profit’s media offering includes 220 video interviews of experts around sustainable business, impact and clean tech. These interviews have informed us that although businesses want to differentiate themselves with a positive footprint, not all claims are true. We live in a world of massive clusters of data, unorganized and inconsistent, with layers of scraped news-based information and legal records. While obtaining the data, indexes and scores is exorbitant, it also lacks provenance and verification for due diligence. Amy Seidman, CEO and Founder, is an active professional in the clean tech, impact and sustainability communities for over 7 years. Amy is helped creating some of the first interactive media and technology with Disney, Pac Bell, Fox, MGM, Lotus, and ValuClick Media. Amy also co-created the first volunteer website for EarthDay LA resulting in connecting over a million people.Bridgett Luther, CSO led the creation of the Cradle To Cradle Institute as Executive Direction. Prior she worked for Trust for Public Land and the California Department of Conservation, is a former member of USEPA’s National Advisory Council on Environmental Policy & Tech.Gary Fitts, CTO has worked with Lawrence Berkeley Labs on information modeling around fire risk and the electrical grid that was used to inform around dangers of California forest fires imminent at the time. He created TOPs which was the first acquisition of Sun Microsystems and became Apple Share.
