How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
Our vision is for a unified digital health system that allows information to be generated, shared and acted upon by those that need it. We use technologies to ensure information is digitized when generated (through our solar-powered appliances), seamlessly connected to the network (using cellular or digital radio) and available in real-time to all stakeholders (through our proprietary distributed ledger technology built for low bandwidth and energy consumption). In doing so, we are able to build a robust, first of its kind surveillance system, that brings the features of a distributed ledger to patients and workers that were previously disconnected due to reliance on conventional hardware and ICT infrastructure. We see our ledger as the common thread across stakeholders and we build or re-purpose user-specific hardware to connect them to it, regardless of cellular or power availability, ensuring a low to no marginal cost use of the system. This will ensure self-reliance and sustainably engaging all stakeholders at all times.
Does your business contribute most to recovery, response, or resilience?
