How is your business helping to solve the health, social, or economic challenges created by COVID19?
Radar is a platform used to digitally track covid-19 cases and provide prevention and control measures in Kenya. The platform is available in 3 ways: An android application, a whatsapp bot and a USSD code.Radar platform provides: -a channel where infected people can share their movements with a wide audience while maintaining anonymity -a portal where users can actively monitor high-risk locations.- a simple self-monitoring tool to track their symptoms over time and gauge their need for medical attention- basic information on the virus transmission, how to wash hands and to make a mask. This will help people to take caution in their movements and ultimately reduce transmission of the disease which is at very high rate. Reduced transmission will mean less people get sick and hence will ease the burden on the health care system. As people move around taking extra precaution using the information provided they can continue to earn a living and avoid a large dip in Kenya's economy.
